As a student that enjoyed art I find this piece of work to be amazing. This picture fits the story well and places a good image in the readers mind as the story is read. The story itself reminds me of all the jealousy that young women face between each other. We can’t make a person love us we can only hope they do. The way that this story was written reminds me of all the fights I used to get into with my friends as I was a young girl and hoped that a young boy would like me and not my friends. I found it interesting how the parents in this story never longed for a child until they became old aged.
