Which Tale Would You Live?

My apologies for the lack of posting. This week as been very, very busy.
But I think I have a a good question to stimulate your imaginations:

Which fairy tale would you want to be in? I know the sensible answer is, "None of them! They are so violent and horrible!"

But one of the many charms of fairy tales is the ability to put oneself in the shoes of characters and live their stories in your imagination.

So who would it be? Which story? Why? What would scare you? What would enchant you?

Have you ever felt you were in a fairy tale? Why? When?

Me? I'd be the fairy godmother in "Cinderella." First, because I'd like to wave a glittery wand and make things happen. Second, because I am so used to hovering anxiously in the wings, wanting everything to work out for young people. So it would be familiar, but new.

I feel a little like I lived Beauty & The Beast with my SO. I don't think he's unattractive, but he seemed (seems?) to feel that way. When we first started dating once upon a time, all his friends and family kept asking him questions that implied they felt I was out of his league. (Honestly, I found their questions more insulting than flattering.) While I shan't claim that I rescued him from a situation that he would not have eventually left himself, I did inspire him to leave the beast state (an ugly situation he was in) for the prince state (a happier life).

I have a special fondness for Snow White & Rose Red, since I always wanted a special sister connection. Ironically, my connection with my own real sister was never terribly strong. We two fit the Snow White and Rose Red roles pretty well, though: I am the quieter domestic and she is the adventurous redhead.

I seem to be in the prince's role in Cinderella, too, with my recently adopted shelter dog as Cinderella. We met, he charmed me, he departed, I had to pursue, and now we are living happily (ever I hope) after. Appropriately enough, I got him with help from the Ferry DogMothers.

I would love to be in Beauty and the Beast! Its such a beautiful story, and I like the whole "don't judge someone by a first impression" lesson it implies.

This is a really tough question. I love Beauty and the Beast but I'm not sure I would want to be a part of that story. Hmm...Snow White gets attacked by her stepmother, Sleeping Beauty gets put to sleep by a prick on the finger, don't even want to think about the Little Mermaid, and all the really strong women in fairy tales seem to be unspeakably evil. They try to kill their kids or they do kill them and feed them to the other people in the house. If I had to be a character in a story I think I would be the beanstalk in Jack and the Beanstalk. It doesn't do anything, doesn't kill anybody, and doesn't eat anyone. The Beanstalk is not a glamorous character but that's the one I would be.

It is true that after reading the “real” fairy tale stories, I am not sure that I would want to actually be a character in one of them. But, if I was to choose one, I think that I would want to be Beauty in “Beauty and the Beast”. She does what she can for her father and what she thinks will help her family. Then she goes to an unfamiliar place, thinking that her demise is in the future, only to fall in love with a beast of a man. Fortunately, this beast is a wonderful man in disguise and he truly admires her. Who wouldn’t want to be adored and loved? He showers her with all of her wants and wishes, even allowing her to spend time with her family, and then he turns into a handsome prince in the end. I can think of worse things that could happen in a castle. Stephanie L.

I would love to be the beauty in The Sleeping Beauty. It is so romantic in all ways. I love the idea of a beautiful princess at her spinning wheel, spinning her dreams into her work. Then she pricks her finger and falls into a sleep for a hundred years only to be woken up by a handsome prince. Sounds good to me.

If you considered The Chronicles of Narnia a fairy tale series, I think I would like to live in those fairy tales. I don’t think I would want to replace one of the characters, but maybe be an addition. Just the thought of walking through an opening, in this case a wardrobe, into an entirely different world filled with magic, mystery, adventure and different talking creatures is very entertaining to me. The children just walked into a world where the occupants were already waiting on their coming.
I can imagine the awe of entering a world with talking animals and a clear battle between good and evil. I think the ice queen would scare me with all her powers, but Aslan always shows up at the right time. I like how they can be in Narnia for literally a lifetime and go back through the door of the wardrobe like they never left, returning to the previous age and time. They get the benefit of adventure and excitement, as well as the safety of home if they can make it back through that door.

Who, what, when, where, and how? Beast, from Beauty and the Beast, the castle of Beast, at the end of the story marrying Beauty, and with Colonel Mustard and a pipe wrench. Huh?

I would be Beast from the story of Beauty and the Beast because I already feel very similar to this character as be told. Beast is kind-hearted and gets the beautiful women in the end while the siblings of Beauty’s suffer. Oh! Not to mention that Beast turns into a most handsome fellow!

In the place where I am at now – I feel like the most dedicated person that I know at times. I see Beast in this way as well. I married the most beautiful women in the world (to me), which as did Beast to Beauty. The correlation of Beauty and my wife, Sarah, are there as well – kind, truthful, and pristine. We have a child on the way and our quite excited, as I am sure that Beast was when he married Beauty; I know that I certainly was a very excited man when I got married! I was grinning ear to ear, and if she would have left me for any extended amount of time, I too, probably would have laid down and died!!

Every day that I wake up is a fairy tale with my beautiful wife next to me! She truly is Beauty and I am still not sure why she married me! ;-)

I read this entry a few days ago and have had it on my mind ever since. The problem is that most fairy tale heroines are so passive...

I want to be a protagonist in my own story, not just to hang around waiting to be rescued by the prince!

I guess I recognise myself in the bride in Bluebeard. I think I would have to open the locked room. I also quite like Donkeyskin. She ups and offs and gets a job (albeit not ideal) and bags herself a prince.

Hi, I have just found your beautiful and magical blog. I love it!
What an interesting question, and once its been asked, you cant seem to leave it alone. lol I have to say the very first thing that comes to mind, isnt an official fairy tale I guess, but as a child I loved Mary Poppins and I would love to be her and have that magic carpet bag and umbrella:)
Thanks for putting a smile on my face today. Gail

If I had to pick a fairy tale to live in I believe I would have to choose Jake in the Beanstalk. The first reason for choosing this is it is the only tale I can think of that the male figure isn’t harming their children or just completely absent for the story. I like to think of my self of clever and willing to make this right. Jack realized he messed up when he bought the beans. He makes it right by climbing the beanstalk and getting the most for his money. I also think it would be really cool to climb a beanstalk. As a child I loved to climb trees and be placed that no one else could reach. Jack is also a very clever guy to trick the giant and his wife three times. I myself feel that I am an intelligent person. However, I don’t like the fact that he is stealing from the giant. I don’t agree with this at all. I feel that killing the giant at the end isn’t so be because the giant was a killer himself. He ate English men and after all we have to stand up for who we are. Even if that means taking out the people that want to harm our nation (911).

I would have to choose be a part of Beauty and the Beast. The story of Beauty is not as horrible as it seems, besides her greedy sister's. She is a very smart and interesting girl, not very dual at all. She reminds me of me sometimes. Beauty love's her family so much her father and even her sisters who don’t love her at all. Beauty jeopardizes her life for her own father. This shows a lot of courage and the love she has for her father which personally is so cool. Why wouldn't anyone risk their life for their parents? I also would want to be beauty because she realizes her best friend and her love is the beast who is not the most attractive person in the world he has the bigger personality that is more attractive in men these days. Who doesn't want a man who is caring, honest, protective, and talented in their life? I would have to take that offer any day, even though beauty didn't realize what she had in front of her at the beginning she soon came to that realization that looks are not always important that you have to look beyond the beauty in people.

When I first read this post I immediately thought I would want to be Beauty from “Beauty and Beast.” Although, at times I find Beauty’s character annoying, I would have to say that I relate to her the most. Out of all the fairy tale heroines I find her the least passive and weak. I guess I would be choosing the lesser of several evils here. While she is stronger than most of the others, for example Sleeping Beauty and Snow White, she is still slightly irritating and did not have that great of life after her family lost their wealth. Ultimately she is despised by what little family she has, and the one person who supposedly loves her sells her out to the Beast. However, the more I thought about it I had to think of “Donkeyskin”. The first time I ever read “Donkeyskin” was a few weeks ago and I was completely enchanted with her story. While she experienced the ultimate betrayal by the person she loved the most, she had a great life until her mother died. After her father committed the ultimate evil she did not sit and accept it, she chose to take her fate into her own hands and fight. In the end she falls in love and with someone who loves her greatly and as the fairy tales say lived happily ever after.

And what woman would not want all those fabulous dresses??

If I had to choose a fairy tale to live out, I would most love to play the role of Beast in “Beauty and the Beast.” I choose this tale simply because it has one of the only male roles in a fairy tale that portrays a positive role. Additionally, I can relate to the character of Beast. Beast is a wise, caring, serving, and honorable male, all the attributes that make a respectable man. Likewise, how could a man not want to be Beast? Here is a character, hideous/gruesome in his appearance, which gets the women of his dreams to fall in love with him, simply by his gentleness. Furthermore, to live alone with one’s true love in a castle, in the middle of nowhere, with fields as wide as the eye can see, gardens with perfect blossoms, with no job to attend to, and having endless wealth, all builds up to be a fairy tale in my book.

If I could chose to be in any fairy tale I would want to be in Beauty and the Beast. Even though it seems like it is a freighting story when she lives with the Beast I would have so much fun living in the huge castle and be able to do almost anything. She makes new friends in a different way and I am the type of person who loves to see things and make new friends a completely new way. Life is full of so much and I do not want to live the ordinary life. I also enjoy this story because it does teach a lesson to people. Once Beauty sees who the Beast really is, he turns into a real prince charming. I believe this is a good life lessons we all should learn. We should not judge someone from the outside, but for who they really are.

Like numerous others that have commented, I feel like I relate the most to “Beauty and the Beast.” Although at first glance the tale appears to be mostly about the female character, from the Beast’s perspective it highlights the insecurities men face about their own appearances and intellect when courting women. Throughout the story, the Beast feels shameful due to his unattractiveness as well as his self-perceived ignorance. When I was younger, I occupied myself with these concerns often, similar to the Beast. I did not have much self-esteem after seeing a bunch of funnier, stronger, and good-looking competitors. Ironically, however, the Beast is a handsome prince in disguise. I think shows how a negative self-esteem can reflect and have negative effects externally, despite what internal value a person actually has.

Overall, the tale not only teaches morals to women, but also gives men hope and confidence that having a good character and persistence will pay off in the end.

When I was young and my appearance was more childlike, I used to have prince charmings appear on a regular basis. If my car broke down along the road, in the days before cell phones, a gallant knight would pull up alongside the road and scoop me into his car and drive me off to safety. If I was at a store and appeared to be struggling for some change, an enchanting gentleman would step up to the counter and chip in to pay my bill. While job hunting, if I was lucky enough to have an interview with a prince charming, I could leave the meeting assured that the position was mine. However, as I have aged, I no longer have that youthful appearance the prince charmings in my life are not necessarily knocking down my door any more. I often wonder happens to our princesses in fairy tales after they have gained a few pounds and the creases of age begin to appear… do their prince charmings still come to their rescue?

If I could chose a fairy tale I think I would chose Beauty and the Beast. That fairy tales has been my favorite ever since I could remember, well ever since I knew how to read English. I think living with a person the opposite of you can be a journey to remember. Beauty has to learn to live with the Beast and love him for who he is. And it does teach everyone a lesson that we are all different from the inside and out. We don’t have to act the same and dress the same. The father might not be the best father figure but I would rather have him and not the evil stepmother.
The time I ever felt like I was in a fairy tale was when I got married to my prince charming (my husband). It was the best day of my life and I felt like a princess that day.

It is hard for me to choose just one fairytale that I would like to live. Many of them have aspects that I would like to experience and ones that I would not. After a lot of thought, I think I would like to live the life of Beauty from “Beauty and the Beast.” Beauty is an admirable character. She is beautiful, intelligent, caring, courageous, and humble. These are all qualities that I would love to possess.

A few things would scare me about living Beauty’s life. First, the thought of being sent away to a mysterious castle where my death awaited me is terrifying. Second, the fact that my father would allow such a thing to happen would be heartbreaking. Last, the first time I saw the beast I would be terrified. I would most likely continue to be terrified until I got to know him better.

There are also a few things that would enchant me about living this particular life. Being able to live in a beautiful castle while being showered with gifts and given my own room would be incredible. In addition, falling in love with someone exclusively because of his inner beauty and not his physical assets would be fascinating. Then, I find that the love of my life is actually a handsome price. Wow! What else could I ask for?

My initial reaction to this post was very similar to your own because if I had to choose from the Disney versions I would choose Beauty and the Beast. In fact Disney or even the non- Disney I would still choose Beauty from Beauty and the Beast because she gets the best “prince charming”. Beast truly was the whole package. However I had to choose a male role I would not want to be the Beast because I want to be a trickster or someone that can sneaky and still come out on top. So that being said, If I were to choose a fairy tale of which I would like to be I would choose Puss’ n’ Boots because he is so cunning and seemed to have a lot common sense or “street” smarts. He knew what he had to do and he did it. Plus he is just an absolutely adorable character at least in the Shrek movies.

As corny as it may sound, I would like to be the prince in the fairy tale "Cinderella." Basically it boils down to, I'm all for meeting a beautiful girl and marrying her, and Cinderella just seems better than all the rest. Beauty has her issues where she comes off like she's better than everyone else. Let's face it, Snow White is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Not to mention she's liable to be tricked into anything. And there's just something off about Sleeping Beauty and the fact that she could just wake up to some guy kissing her and not be in the least bit of shock. So Cinderella is definitely the choice. She works hard, she's beautiful, she does not come across superficial or like she thinks she's better than everyone else. She seems to be the most genuine of all the fairy tale characters. Also I would choose to be in Cinderella for the obvious fact that it would be awesome to be a prince.

If I had to chose to be a character in a fairy tale, I’d have to chose Beauty from “Beauty and the Beast.” She is not tortured or killed like many of the fairy tale characters. She really has an easy life. She does have to leave her family, but she leaves her family to live with someone that truly cares about her and who does nothing but things for her. Beast allows her to go home and visit her family only for her promise to return to him. She, however, is selfish to take advantage of him and try to stay longer than she promised. In any other fairy tale, her shenanigans could and probably would have cost her dearly. She is probably one of the more boring and underdeveloped main characters in fairy tales but when comparing the rest of the characters, she really has a good life. However, I do not think she really deserves the prince at the end. She did not do anything spectacular to earn the heartfelt love that she receives.

I would pick living out the fairy tale of Cinderella. I am very close to my father, so it would be tough to have to be without him. But I would love to live out her tale. What women wouldn't want to meet a fairy godmother who can make her look gorgeous in a second and ride off to a ball. Then while there, everyone notices you and thinks that your the prettiest thing. Next, you'd meet prince charming and he'll eventually stop at nothing to find you and you live happily ever after. Even though Cinderella undergoes horrible events from her step-mother and sisters, I think it'd be worth it in the end. Hard work and karma always pays off.

If I were to choose which fairy tale I could live, then it would have to be “Beauty and the Beast”. I chose that one because even though Beast is hideous looking, he is good natured, good mannered, and an all around gentle beast. He shows that he is completely capable of love, compassion, and forgiveness. All of these traits are endearing ones and ones that I believe I already possess. I also see that in the face of adversity he was still willing to sacrifice himself for what he believed in and for the woman he loved. He risked it all and yet in the end still won. Not only did he win the woman he loved but he won his freedom from the beast in himself. It isn’t like nice guys always finish last, as we all have come to believe. I Feel this fairy tale is the one I most have inside me already therefore I choose it.

Ever since I saw the Disney version of the fairy tale, I’ve been in love with the classic Beauty and the Beast. This fairy tale captured my attention when I was little seeing how true love can exist where one might not think it would. After reading it for class and analyzing it for papers, I’ve fallen in love with the story once again. I would love to be Beauty in this story due to the simplistic ways she has and the honest character she portrays. Even though she judges the Beast at first, she is willing to give others a chance and willing to try to see the good in everyone. I’d like to think that I try to do the same thing. I would love to be with a man as caring, gentle, understanding, loving, and open as Beast in this tale. I think this is the best and most eye-opening tale that teaches little children the importance of finding someone meant for you. There’s more than meets the eye.

After reading a few of the real versions of fairy tales, I have to say that I would not like to live any of these tales. I am perfectly fine with the life I am living right now! Although, if I had to choose one, and if you consider Aladdin a fairy tale, I would like to be Jasmine from the Disney version of Aladdin. I loved the movie Aladdin as a child. I even named my first cat, which I got when I was seven, after Jasmine because she was all black and her hair reminded me of Jasmine’s hair. I always loved her outfit because my favorite color was the teal blue that she wears and I always wanted to be a princess. This is not pertaining to the question but if you ever watched Aladdin as a child and then again as an adult, Genie, played by Robin Williams, is hilarious. Most of his jokes are very adult like, which I never noticed as a child because I did not understand them. When I watched it as an adult a few years ago though, I laughed throughout the whole movie because of how funny Robin Williams is. I also have to say that I think it would be fun to be the Genie in Aladdin because he gets to do Magic!

9-15-2010 BrittaniH “Which Tale Would You Live?” I would want to be Belle in the Disney version of Beauty and the Beast. I understand it may not seem like a good option to many at the first glance, but it would work well for me. Even though Belle is stuck in the castle and can’t leave, she gets to live in a magical place with all of her newly found friends! If I could be friends with house appliances.. well that would be great! You would never be lonely, never have to do household work, or cook! How much better could it get? I would be scared to begin with considering the Beast has a very short temper, but just like Belle did, I would find his soft side. Even though the relationship between Belle and the Beast was a little rocky to begin with she ended up getting her happy ending, and a house full of friends!

I loved the Chronicles of Narnia when I was younger. I actually like all the fairy tales really. However, there is something about being able to walk through a wardrobe into a magical land and have adventures and then coming back and it is like no time has passed. These books have their share of villains and danger, but that is what makes them exciting. Also, I like that its a group of siblings going through the adventure together. You would never be alone and at least would have your family with you, unlike many of the heroines or villains in other fairy tales. I would not really care which child, but I would prefer to be one of the two girls, just because I don't have any experience being a guy and wouldn't want to start being one in my fairy tale. I think even in real life that you have to have some sense of fun and adventure. That is why even now as an adult stories with elements of fantasy are still what I gravitate towards. I enjoy more realistic novels or even memoirs too, but my favorites always have that element of fantasy that makes the story that much more intriguing. If I am going to be a character in a fairy tale, I want to be in a fairy tale filled with magic and adventure that will probably never happen to me in my real life. That is why I did not go for characters such as Cinderella or Snow White. Not that I think I would ever be in their dramatic situations in real life, but the whole romance concept and getting married does not interest me as much as the adventure aspect. I could get married and find romance in real life, but could I ever walk through a wardrobe into Narnia? I think mostly likely that is not going to happen.

I would choose to live Disney's Peter Pan. I'm not quite sure if Peter Pan is considered a fairy tale, but I would be Tinkerbell hands down because I would not mind having her confidence and attitude. No, it is true that I cannot fly, I don't have a supply of pixie dust, and (perhaps the most obvious) I am not a fairy. When I say I want to be like her, I am mostly referring to the personality. I wouldn’t mind to have the ability to fly, pixie dust, and to be a fairy. I also want to emphasize I am talking about the ORIGINAL Disney Tinkerbell, not the new sweet, kind, and speaking Tinkerbell that they have digitally created. Tinkerbell is jealous, conceited, and manipulative I understand this, and this is why she does not seem to be an ideal choice. Yet, I readily admit I am a jealous person. Tink doesn't want anyone else being Peter's number one girl and she makes that perfectly clear. What I envy is Tinkerbell's confidence in her appearance and her attitude. She has no problem letting someone know if she does not like them and it does not bother her not to be liked. I would love to fly and to take care of the lost boys. To even visit Neverland in the first place would be enchanting! I would be scared of Captain Hook though, especially when he traps her and holds her captive. I would also be scared Peter was going to die when he is fighting with Hook. Tinkerbell has always been my favorite character. She has a best friend that she loves and he loves her, and they live many adventures on a daily basis. She has a fabulous life and attitude!

I think I would also like to be the fairy godmother in “Cinderella.” Thank you for the idea, because I don’t think I would have been able to pick anyone else. Although many fairy tale heroines eventually end up “happily ever after,” I don’t think I would be able to endure the suffering, regardless of the end result. The fairy godmother does get to bring happiness upon the long suffering Cinderella. How amazing would that be? There is nothing greater in life than seeing the joy on my children’s faces, especially when it’s something that I have done. What the fairy godmother does is comparable to this, but she gets to do magical things, things actual mothers cannot do. It sounds fun and exciting to be able to dress up someone and ultimately change her life. What the fairy godmother possesses is a somewhat God-like ability, an attribute many would love to have.

- I think out of all the fairy tales I would want to be Cinderella. While she has a hard life growing up, she doesn’t let it stop her from dreaming. She is a hard worker and eventually ends up winning the best prize of all – her prince charming. While it would never be fun to have to be a slave in your own household, I feel like that “punishment” or whatever you want to call it is a lot less severe than those in other fairy tales. In Snow White, she is constantly the target for murder. In Anderson’s Little Mermaid, she puts herself through so much pain physically and in Beauty & the Beast, Belle is constantly under the scrutiny of the townspeople. In my humble opinion, I think Cinderella has it the easiest out of all of them. Not only that, but it seems like the prince truly loves her… which definitely cannot be said for the prince in Snow White.

I think I would like to be either in Beauty and the Beast", or "Cinderella." being Bell in "beauty and the Beast" would be nice because I would have the opportunity to live in a big castle and make any new friends. Even though it would be frightening to live with a beast It would be nice to get to know him and realize that I fell in love with him. Beauty is an admirable character. I would also like to be Bell because she is beautiful, intelligent, caring, courageous, and humble. These are all qualities that I would love to possess. I would also like to be Cinderella because she is hard working and she is not evil. However, I would not be as calm with my step mother and step sisters as she was. I don't think I could take every thing they put her through. It would be very nice to have a fairy godmother who gave me every thing I desired. I would also love to have the opportunity to attend a party and have the prince look for me because he wants to marry me. I think Cinderellas future is full of happiness and riches, unlike her step mothers.

At this point in my life I would chose to live the part of "Beauty" in "The Tiger's Tale". - Beauty is abandoned to live with The Beast when the rights to her life are lost in a gambling match. She is transported to live with the Beast and an odd butler who communicates the Beast's wishes to her. His main wish is to see all of her. At first, it made my stomach turn. I have a 14 year old daughter and could not imagine her in this situation. Stepping back, I thought about the culture of the day and switched the situation in my mind to a modern day scenario where marriage or the giving of oneself to another happens later in life. (Therefore, I took my daughter completely out of the equation, for that is too dreadful for me to consider.) I then placed myself in the character of Beauty. As I watched her character evolve, I found myself in her. No, I was not abandoned. I did not marry a Beast. No, I do not have someone to interpret my husband's thoughts and wishes to me. (Sometimes I wish I did. Other times, I am thankful I am oblivious.) ha! I have not even derived from the world of riches. I do, however: believe that in marriage or an intimate friendship, there is a need to become completely vulnerable. Hand in hand with that vulnerablity must come a willingness to lay down our lives for the other person. There is limited room for self-centeredness. In this story, the Beast is the one who gives of himself first, which ultimately woos her heart. This part of the tale relates to my life as my husband is the one who puts his desires aside first more often than I. I came into marriage with a fear of rejection that sometimes kept me from moving too close. Beauty also moved slowly with fear in her relationship with the Beast as she recalled horror stories that a beast would eat her alive. - The other way I relate to Beauty is in my stubbornness that runs deep. Give me a task, and I will put my hand to the plow until my fingers bleed. Beauty also characterizes her strong will in going through with the banishment to the Beast's private fortress. She remains stoic in taking so long to decide she was willing to literally leave her old life and trust the Beast. - Beast and Beauty both show their true colors, shadowed yet illuminated with all their imperfection. I believe, like Beauty, true relationships develop when we drop our fears and live from the heart. Beauty found a way to be truly honest, vulnerable and giving. I hope I will continue to become the kind of person that looks fear in the eyes and embodies authentical unselfish living. -tlc*

I would want to be Jack from “Jack and the Beanstalk”. I think it would be a really fun adventure to climb all the way up into the sky on a magic beanstalk. I know that if I saw something like that in real life as a boy I would have had to climb it just to see what was at the top. I also think it would be fun to be such a rogue character and have everything work out so well for me after I stole priceless gold items. I would also really love to own a hen that lays golden eggs. I would probably stand next to it for hours a day just saying “lay” over and over. Also I would really love to defeat an ogre that eats children. This would have to make you a hero in your area. After he becomes extremely rich he gets to marry a princess and become a king. What male wouldn’t want to become a king and become wildly rich? Brandon H.

This is a very tough question to answer as many of the tales have a struggle of some kind for the heroine. Also many of the heroines have very tough lives such as maids or servants then you have the characters that are having someone chase them trying to kill them. Either way it does not sound like an enjoyable time. I think if I did have to choose though I would probably choose “Jack and the Beanstalk” as I would enjoy traveling into a new place in the sky filled with things like ogres and such. It would be tough to say I would want to be Jack as he seems like kind of an unintelligent child, however he does get a pretty sweet story out of the beanstalk. It would also be tough to be that poor and a struggle to have to live with my mother in such a rough time in one’s life. It would be enjoyable to see a house with ogres and hen that makes golden eggs.

There are several fairy tales that I would find interesting to live. It is tough to decide which I would enjoy most. The one that really comes to mind is "Alice in Wonderland." It would be so fun being able to fall into a giant rabbit hole and end up in a new world were everything is distorted and artsy. The characters within the story are all so different, and some of them remind me of my friends. "Alice in Wonderland" has always been a fairy tale that has sparked my imagination, even at an early age. The scariest part of being there would also probably end up being a fun adventure... Trying to survive a totally new experience with the unknown of what will be coming next. The most enchanting part of being in this fairy tale would be meeting so many new characters and problem- solving.
